There are Registered Nurses, Break RNs, Charge Nurses, Physicians, Physicians Assistants, and Nurse Practitioners on this cohesive multidisciplinary team. You will also:Provide quality care that reflects initiative, flexibility, and responsibility indicative of professional expectations with a minimum of supervisionTriage safely, rapidly, and accurately, every patient that enters the emergency care systemDetermine priorities of care based on physical and psychosocial needs, as well as factors influencing patient flow through the hospital systemCommunicate with Emergency Department physicians about changes in patient’s status, symptomatology, and results of diagnostic studiesRespond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment in the EDHours:
2:00 p.m. – 2:30 a.m.Educational Requirements:Graduate of accredited nursing program. BSN preferredMinimum of an Associate's Degree in NursingLicense/Certifications:Valid California Registered Nurse LicenseBLS through the American Heart Association requiredACLS through the American Heart Association requiredPALS through the American Heart Association required16-hour Pediatric Emergency Course (EDAP or ENPC) required within first year of employmentTNCC preferredExperience:Minimum of 1 year ED experience requiredDemonstrated dedication to customer service and ability to meet the needs and expectations of patients and health care colleaguesWorking Title:
