Senior Operating Budget Analyst.
This position is located in the Office of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO), Office of Budget and Planning (OBP), Operating Budget Division. The incumbent plays a key role in tracking and monitoring the formulation, execution, and analysis of the District's budget and serves as OBP's primary contact with agency budget and program staff.Duties include, but are not limited to:
Coordinating OBP-wide projects including the preparation of analyst instructions, coordinating agency reprogramming, and evaluating agency program enhancements.Analyzing special programs and budgetary issues; contributing to the preparation of the Mayor's annual operating budgets.Interpreting budget policy, forecasting budgetary trends and activities, and analyzing agencies' annual spending plans.Preparing impact statements and recommending alternatives by providing financial expertise, guidance, and consultative services.Performing other related duties as assigned.Minimum Qualifications:
