To succeed in this role, you must have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil, Environmental, Geoenvironmental, or Chemical Engineering and have approximately 7+ years of relevant experience. Click the apply button to send your application.Your key tasks and responsibilities for this role will be:Execute engineering tasks in support of key projects/programs, including Remedial Investigations, Feasibility Studies, Remedial Designs, Remedial Actions, and post-remediation OM&M.Provide engineering support for the remediation of contaminated soils, sediments, surface water, and groundwater involving remedies such as excavation, capping, containment, in-situ and ex-situ treatment, and subsurface vapor mitigation.Coordinate the development and finalization of technical documents (e.g., regulatory reports, work plans, remedial design plans and specifications, construction completion reports, permit applications, etc.) pursuant to regulatory requirements (i.e., NJ ARRCS).Provide project support with the development of scopes of work, planning, and implementation of routine tasks including, but not limited to, soil, groundwater, and vapor sampling efforts.Assist in the development of project execution strategies, and successfully track project activities related to scope, schedule, and budget.Interact with existing and prospective clients and integrate with collaborative project teams made up of Engineers, Geologists, and Scientists.Serve as mentor to Early-Career Engineers.Your starting point for constant growth:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil, Environmental, Geoenvironmental, or Chemical Engineering and 7+ years of relevant experience.Possession, eligibility, or interest in obtaining PE license and/or LSRP.40-Hour OSHA HAZWOPER certification and up to date 8-hour refresher.Developing PM, technical and client relationship building capabilities.Strong working knowledge of NJDEP regulations including ISRA, TRSR, and ARRCS, and technical guidance. Familiarity with other local, State (e.g., PADEP, NYSDEC), and federal (USEPA) agencies/regulations a plus.Experience with both conventional and innovative remediation technologies.Experience developing and implementing Pre-Design Investigations and Remedial Design documents (regulatory and technical/contractual).Personal qualities that will help you succeed in this role include:Ability to work on and prioritize multiple projects with competing deadlines.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a strong attention to detail, quality, and safety.Good interpersonal skills, customer focus, and strong ability to work effectively in teams.How to applyApply online.
