Position Overview

Salary range:The posted UC salary scales set the minimum pay determined by rank and step at appointment. The salary range for this position is $134,700-$400,000. This position includes membership in the health sciences compensation plan, which provides for eligibility for additional compensation.

The UCLA General Internal Medicine Program has an opening for a full-time outpatient/inpatient Addiction Medicine physician serving the Greater Los Angeles area. Successful candidates will be part of an innovative care model with collaboration with Primary Care, Extensivist Medicine, and General Internal Medicine. Candidates must have strong interpersonal and clinical skills, and will have opportunities for teaching fellows, residents, and medical students.The position involves inpatient addiction consult service as well as working in an outpatient addiction bridge clinic. The successful applicant will enjoy a full-time faculty appointment at the Instructor, Assistant, Associate, or full Professor ranks in the Department of Medicine at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. An M.D. or D.O. is required. A California medical license is required.
