Job Description :BioPharma360 is looking for a Business Development (BD) Lead who will be responsible for overseeing and growing the sales team, implementing effective sales and business development strategies, and driving revenue growth. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in sales management and experience with government and commercial RFPs (Requests for Proposals). The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of the sales process.

Responsibilities :

Develop and implement comprehensive business development strategies to drive business growth and market expansion.

Identify, evaluate, and establish sales leads and new business opportunities, including government and commercial contracts and RFPs.

Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform strategic decision-making and business development efforts.

Conduct outreach to prospective clients.

Continuously identify and submit candidates for open opportunities.

Lead, manage, and motivate the sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets and goals.

Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.

Provide coaching, training, and support to the business development team to enhance their skills and performance.

Prepare and present regular sales reports and forecasts to senior management.

Qualifications :

Bachelor’s degree in business or related field (or equivalent experience).

Proven experience (2-5 years) in sales, business development, and RFPs in a relevant field with a track record of achieving sales targets.

Experience with government RFPs and a thorough understanding of the government procurement process.

Experience with commercial RFPs is a plus.

Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tracking tools.

Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Highly motivated, hardworking, and adaptable to diverse areas of need.

Highly resourceful, enjoys working independently while taking the initiative to get things done.
