RBAI has consistently added an average of one product every year resulting in a wide range of products comprising – Engine Control Units (ECU) for both 4W and 2W, Body Control Modules (BCM), ECUs for ABS, DC-DC Converters, iTraMS (Intelligent communication control unit) to name a few. RBAI also produces products for eMobility like MCU (Motor control Unit), C-Box (Communication Box), VCUs (Vehicle Control Unit), Central gateway modules and is geared up for other futuristic products. With a young and agile team, RBAI’s mission statement ‘Be RBAI’ (Be Reliable Benchmark Agile Innovative) is a testament to our commitment in providing best in class products and services for its customers.Regular Responsibilities:Adherence to manufacturing process compliance, legal & safety requirements, Bosch standards and process specifications.Responsible for Safety, Equipment downtimes, and Quality.Willing to work in all 3 shifts.Handle the team of Engineers/Senior Engineers independently in a shift.Coordinating with CFT for day-to-day activities.Work continuously for improving Technical Availability and reducing the Breakdown of machines.Planning and executing PM on time.Finding training needs among the team and planning the same.Planning shift schedules for the team.Deriving corrective and preventive actions for machine breakdown.Good analytical skills to solve problems on machines & lines.Deep problem-solving abilities (e.g., 8D).Predicting problems in machines and taking preliminary actions to avoid breakdowns (implementation of Predictive maintenance).Controlling scrap and droppage.Working on Continuous improvement.Responsible for individual target and department target.Effective escalation to suppliers on open points and breakdowns and its closure.Ordering and management of spare parts and follow-up to get the same.Managing and allocation of manpower for regular activities.Periodic Responsibilities:Review of KPIs and driving the team to achieve KPIs.Arrange training for associates to improve MTTR.Work on improving SQCD.Periodically review PM & B/D points, and convert them to CBM, Predictive mode. Scientific analysis of failure and suggestions for monitoring.Create QAM, Machine FMEA and review. Change potential points into CBM.Implementation and sustenance of TPM, MTBF and MTTR.Coordination with Process owner for improvement activities.Establishing spares monitoring for wear parts.Planning and replacement of tooling and spare parts management.Implementation of digital systems in Maintenance like i4.0 solutions, AI/ML Predictive Maintenance, etc.Qualifications:Diploma in Mechatronics / E&E / Electronics with 7-12 years of experience in the Electronics manufacturing industry with sound electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills on pick and place machines, milling, thermo fuse locking, and conveyor systems. Process knowledge in SMT line and knowledge on other SMT machines is necessary. Knowledge in PLC and I4.0 projects is an advantage.Ability to delegate, inspire, and communicate effectively. Should have a learning attitude, be a self-learner, and be self-motivated. Should take the initiative to achieve goals and maintain good cooperation with cross-functional teams.
