Immigration experience is preferred, but we welcome motivated lawyers with experience in other legal areas who desire to become practitioners in the immigration field. The ideal candidate will be a great communicator, team member, manager, and self-starter. The candidate must also possess good business acumen and the desire to work in a fast-paced, high-volume, high-growth practice.If selected, the attorney needs the ability to handle a fast caseload, day-to-day interactions with clients and potential clients, manage a large team of paralegals, meet deadlines, and be available to their clients and the firm's partners as needed. Organizational skills and project management are also essential to the success of the role.RESPONSIBILITIES:

Meet with potential new clientsCoordinate case and legal strategyManage multiple cases, paralegals, projects, and deadlinesTrain and supervise staffPrepare and revise court documentsConduct legal research and write motions, briefs, and memorandaKeep abreast of legislative changes and judicial case lawMarket the law firm's servicesWork one Saturday a month with the potential for bonuses for new clients signed during those daysCross-sell various other practices within the law firmHandle court hearings and trialsBecome an expert on Family Petitions, Asylum, Individual Hearings, SIJIS, U-Visas, Waivers, etc.QUALIFICATIONS:

J.D. from an ABA Accredited Law School (required)Active Bar License in Good Standing from any US State or PR (required)Authorized to work in the USFluent in Spanish (required)Immigration experience (1 year or more)BENEFITS:
