Costing Specialist - Domestic Production

A detailed Costing Specialist is needed for a successful premium denim and lifestyle apparel company. This person will work alongside the Production and PD teams, as well as design, to make sure all style numbers are accurately entered into the company's ERP system (Blue Cherry) and Stylemaster. You must have experience with yields, fabrics, and be extremely knowledgeable with numbers and math.
Additional duties include:Working within Illustrator to import images into Blue Cherry and update images as needed for costing.Costing from start to finish of all domestic (LA) and Mexico production and creating cost sheets accordingly.Working with the denim design team in the early development changes to support them in providing information and guidance regarding cost efficiency of mixing and matching certain fabrics, washes, construction, etc. with the help of excel cost sheets.Maintaining cost comparison chart for seasonal and core washes with prices and information provided by wash developer.Maintaining cost comparison chart for fashion sew cost.Following up with contractors and design/development to ensure all costs are captured and accurate.Creating excel cost sheets for all styles.Creating seasonal margin chart based on the excel cost sheets to review with EVP and COO.Promoting styles into the style master in BC.Working with merchandising and management on establishing wholesale and retail prices within our margin goal and promoting the BOM’s.Maintaining cost information in Blue Cherry.Salary: 75k DOEThis role is 5 days, onsite.
