Lead Building Engineer

At this time, we are not working with any agencies.We are looking for a Lead Building Engineer to assist the Chief Engineer in directing the mobile engineers with the operations and maintenance of all assigned buildings; provides direct support to field operations, performance metric tracking and reporting, and implements strategic material acquisition strategies.Responsibilities:Supports preparation of monthly/quarterly operations and mechanical reports, and prepares technical evaluations/deficiencies reports on existing mechanical systems and componentsMaintains staffing schedules and employment records for responsible areas in connection with planning, scheduling and execution of engineering/maintenance workPlans schedule of work in accordance with established prioritiesFurnishes the engineers with basic data required in effecting overall and long-range planningResponds effectively to all emergenciesMaintains and operate HVAC equipment and all associated equipmentCoordinates purchasing and inventory control proceduresAssists in Preventive Maintenance Program and all HVAC Building Automation SystemsAssists in the organization of the engineering departmentMaintains liaison with Engineering Manager regarding work orders, job completion dates and priorities and estimatesFurnishes the Engineering Manager with information relative to criticality of buildingsMakes recommendations for systems improvement through immediate supervisor or managementHandles other duties as assignedDesired Competency, Experience and Skills:Valid Applicable State Drivers LicenseHigh School diploma or GED equivalentMinimum of five (5) years training and experience in electrical, HVAC and refrigeration system operation, design application and maintenanceMinimum of five (5) years experience in technical operations supervisionMust possess an excellent working knowledge of computer based applications, to include Excel and WordPay Range:
