We ideate, create, and coordinate. We analyze, strategize, organize, and prioritize. We bridge the communication channel between the client and our project team. We chart the course and navigate the product roadmap sprint by sprint. Some of us are product owners. Some of us are scrum masters. Many of us wear multiple hats and do whatever’s needed to deliver successful projects.What you’ll be doing
Develop a deep understanding of the client's business model, competitive landscape and customer/user segments, and use these to inform business and product strategyCollaborate with clients to determine business and product goals, product scope, design and technical approach, and delivery milestonesAdvise clients on eCommerce strategies and best practices to achieve business objectives including eCommerce platform selection, integration advice, and leveraging of emerging technologiesPlan and Drive DiscoveriesDevelop and execute discovery plans alongside cross-functional team members, including design leads and solutions architectsFacilitate and drive product-specific activities within a discovery phase including feature ideation, requirements gathering, competitive analysis, and third party integration analysisProject Transition and Team BuildingOwn the transition of projects from the discovery to delivery phaseBuild and manage the needed team to ensure successful project deliveryCross-Functional Project DeliveryDrive cross-functional project delivery following Agile principles, ensuring effective risk management and progress transparencyPartner with Product & Project Managers to ensure delivery teams are in line with timelines, scope, and budgetsConstantly measure the success of your projects and the products you own to ensure the team is on the right track to deliver value to the client and the businessWhat you’ll need to be successful (Requirements)
MUST have client facing experience preferably in a consulting setting, eCommerce agency, or within an eCommerce focused product/services companyExperience with eCommerce platforms such as Shopify, BigCommerce, Shopware, or SaleorFive (5)+ years of formal, relevant product experienceHigh energy, team player, creative thinker, and strategic influencerDemonstrated experience in working with broad cross-functional teamsMaturity and good judgmentSkilled in negotiating, influencing others, analytical thinking, leading others, and executing and implementing projectsWillingness to learn and work in a hands-on environmentBonus Points for these (Preferred Experience)
