Zapcom is seeking a strong

.Net C#

Senior Engineer responsible for building and managing server-side web applications, APIs, and Microservices leveraging AWS Serverless and native solutions, and building platforms that can cater to more than one product.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for developing and maintaining custom software using best coding practices and modern techniques.

Must be customer-focused, goal-oriented, and have a passion for success.

Responsible for developing functioning solutions based on technical requirements.

Help other developers in the team by guiding them with technical aspects.

Break user stories into tasks and set expectations for team members using Agile Scrum methodology.

Code, test, and troubleshoot high-availability, high-load software utilizing the appropriate hardware, databases, and programming technologies.

Review others' code and provide recommendations to improve efficiency.

Work with business subject matter experts to design, document, and develop high-performance solutions to complex problems.

Utilize development tools such as Visual Studio Profiler to optimize code and prepare for deployment in high-scale environments.

Help the team with the AWS Serverless landscape and how to build and push code to the AWS target environment.

Foster an environment of communication and problem-solving, leveraging the Zapcom Code of Values.

Assist the team in researching solutions and recommend solutions to meet business requirements.

Experience and proven ability to communicate (verbally and written) effectively with business and IT stakeholders and senior leadership.

Self-driven, motivated, and take pride in developing quality software.

Requirements:

Strong knowledge of SOLID Design principles and at least 2 years of experience in implementing core design patterns using .NET core and Microservices.

Prior experience in building web APIs and REST endpoints and consuming other REST endpoints is required.

Experience in building applications using CI/CD processes working with build and release pipelines.

Experience with deployment, API versioning, and feature toggling is expected.

Experience in building Microservices using common API technologies including REST style paradigm.

Understanding and experience in developing cloud-native applications.

Able to understand and utilize JSON and XML.

Knowledge of the Microsoft operating system and tools, such as Microsoft Visual Studio.

Prefer a computer engineering or computer science degree or equivalent experience.

Preferred skills:

AWS Serverless Lambda.
