The Labor And Employment Associate Attorney will counsel public and private employers on various employment issues, including drafting workplace policies, conducting employee training, and advising on day-to-day employment matters. The role requires 2-4 years of experience and expertise in litigating employment disputes, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, and wage and hour claims. Additionally, experience with traditional labor issues and admission to the Colorado Bar are preferred.Duties:
Drafting workplace policies and proceduresConducting employee training on legal complianceCounseling public and private employers on day-to-day employment issuesResearching and drafting memoranda, pleadings, discovery, and motionsHandling litigation matters related to employment disputesProviding legal advice on unfair labor practices and collective bargaining agreementsRequirements:
2-4 years of experience in labor and employment lawExperience with a broad range of employment issuesLitigation experience in researching and drafting legal documentsDetail-oriented with a solid work ethicJuris Doctorate degree from an accredited law schoolAdmission to the Colorado BarAbility to interface directly with attorneys and clientsDemonstrated ability to work independently and productivelyExceptional written and oral communication skillsStrong decision-making, problem-solving, and organization skillsOutstanding judgment and ability to handle multiple projectsAbility to develop and implement legal strategiesAdmission to other State Bars, particularly California, is a plusBenefits offered:
