Learn more at The Director, Technology Leader, Oncology plays a crucial role in guiding technology direction and project implementation for the J&J North America Innovative Medicine Commercial therapeutic areas and supporting functions. As a Technology Leader, you will have the chance to engage with business partners, contribute to business strategies, and enhance operational efficiency for the US Oncology business. Your main responsibility will be to devise and implement technology strategies that align with the vision and capabilities of the US Oncology business.Key Responsibilities:Serve as a technology strategist and business unit manager, aligning IT capabilities and strategies with business unit objectives and priorities.Collaborate with business leaders to explore potential areas for improvement and establish strong justifications for implementing technology solutions.Develop and implement technology strategies that further enhance the vision and capabilities of the US Oncology business.Engage with business and technology partners to identify and prioritize portfolio and resource opportunities to advance the business.Lead and support major strategic technology programs to drive successful implementation and business value realization.Prioritize and manage portfolio demands and projects, allocating resources across the portfolio.Drive requirements analysis and definition for new demands, partnering with solutions architecture and appropriate product groups.Lead project management and delivery for franchise-specific projects, ensuring solutions architecture alignment and optimal end-user experience.Oversee the implementation, coordination, and communication of solutions being deployed to assigned business units.Partner and collaborate with IT and functional partners across regions and sectors to advance effectiveness and impact.QualificationsEducation:A BS/BA degree is required.Experience and Skills:Required:Life sciences or healthcare demonstrable experience.Experience delivering medium to large scale digital projects from concept through delivery and operations.People management experience with building and motivating diverse teams.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with outstanding interpersonal skills.Ability to lead multiple priorities and operate with poise and integrity in a high-profile, evolving environment.Deep understanding of industry trends and user needs, with the ability to build a vision and value proposition that supports business goals.Anticipates and communicates the need for change and innovation empathetically while ensuring an outcome-centered approach.Dedication to Our Credo, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, and Culture by ensuring the attraction, development, and retention of talent that reflects the communities we serve.Promotes a team dynamic of empowerment and accountability, eliminates barriers, and encourages decision-making at the lowest appropriate level.Ability to collaborate with business and technology teams to shape requirements, select suitable technology solutions, establish the optimal application framework, and implement alongside product owners.Preferred:Director-level experience in another role.Experience with pharmaceutical or innovative medicine commercial business (sales, marketing, scientific affairs, patient services, and/or supporting functions to those business units).Familiarity with digital technologies, processes, and solutions for sales, marketing, and medical functions.4+ years of people management experience.Other:Language requirements – relevant language proficiency requirements, if applicable.Travel percentage – occasional domestic travel primarily in the NJ, PA area.The anticipated base pay range for this position is $142,000 -$244,950.#JNJTechThe Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.
