With us, you have the ultimate opportunity to gain new and challenging work experiences and create an unparalleled, direct impact.Job Title:  National MSL Director, ImmunologyLocation:   Nationwide US (Remote)Job Description The National MSL Director will lead and manage the US Medical Science Liaison (MSL) team for the immunology asset, nemolizumab, reporting to the Senior Director of US Medical Affairs. This role involves shaping strategic and tactical scientific engagement plans in line with US Medical and program strategy. Responsibilities include developing MSL strategies, engaging scientific thought leaders, and forming partnerships with key medical organizations. The Director will foster a high-performance culture using a metrics-driven approach and oversee the execution of field medical plans and key initiatives, such as KOL engagement, educational programs, product launches, clinical study support, scientific congress participation, and data dissemination.Key ResponsibilitiesLead, Manage and develop MSLs within the national team including hiring, field training, evaluation, and motivation, in alignment with Galderma’s corporate values, nemolizumab strategic imperatives and objectives.Provide strong leadership to inspire and guide the team towards achieving outstanding results aligned with corporate goals. Ensure all MSL activities and interactions comply with regulatory, legal, and Galderma guidelines.Develop and ensure execution of the field medical plan. Translate national MSL medical strategies into actionable MSL field activities, focusing on engaging regional opinion leaders across territories, educating healthcare professionals on disease states and product and development and engagement with regional opinion leaders in individual MSL territories amongst other strategies.Mentor and coach individual MSLs in the field (through regular ride alongs) and outside the field to enhance their professional competencies and capabilities (e.g., execution of disease awareness tactics).Develop and/or facilitate a robust onboarding and ongoing training and development opportunities to ensure MSLs are well-equipped to meet strategic objectives. In collaboration with Medical Communications and Medical Directors, develop, review, and revise MSL training materials and facilitate MSL team training.Guide and assist MSLs in the coordination of opinion leader interactions across the region and with internal stake holders as necessary.Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the impact and effectiveness of MSL activities.Identify and track key deliverables and insights that highlight value of the MSL organization demonstrating customer impactGather and analyze field insights from external stakeholders to provide qualitative and quantitative reports, informing strategic decisions and initiatives.Identifies, develops, and maintains effective professional relationships with critical external stakeholders including building a network of Therapeutic Area scientific experts in the US through the MSL teamDevelop and ensure alignment in medical education activities for healthcare professionals through MSL-delivered presentations, participation in medical meetings, and other appropriate venues to enhance disease state knowledge.Develop and maintain productive and appropriate relationships with individuals across the organization including cross-functional groups Medical Affairs, Medical Communications, and Commercial teams.Ensure each MSL territory plan is fit for purpose, up to date, and actionable. Clearly articulate national and territory plans and tactics; define, clarify and manage team priorities; actively support the national team within their scope of responsibility by being their advocate and spokesperson; promote sense of urgency and collaboration within the team, across work groups and with clinicians.Lead Galderma’s MSL team at national and regional scientific meetings including participation, staffing medical affairs booths, and gathering competitive intelligence. Translate activity into organized congress qualitative insights that can be disseminated internally to stakeholders.Foster a culture of operational excellence and continuous improvement within the MSL teamSkills and QualificationsAdvanced Scientific Degree required- MD, DO, PharmD, or PhD8+ years of overall Medical Affairs and/or MSL experience including 4+ years of experience leading large MSL field-based teamProven track record in a metrics-driven environment.Immunology/dermatology focus, especially with biologics launches preferred.Excellent communication, presentation, time management, and adaptability. Solution-oriented and effective at all organizational levels.Strong understanding of US regulatory, legal, and compliance guidelines in the pharmaceutical industry.Demonstrated abilities in strategic planning, organization, and project management.Commitment to high ethical standards and scientific integrity.Excellent leadership skills, including in ambiguous situations.
