Job Description
OCI Data Science is the AI Platform of Oracle Cloud, serving data scientists and machine learning engineers and practitioners in thousands of organizations around the globe, to develop, manage, and productionize ML models and Large Language Models (LLMs) in an enterprise grade environment.
As a Product Manager in the product team, you will innovate, define, and execute OCI Data Science product strategy. You will collect customer requirements to define product specifications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, data science, design, marketing, and sales to deliver products that delight our customers and drive business growth. Your expertise in cutting-edge AI technologies, coupled with your strong product management skills, will be essential in guiding the development and launch of innovative AI products.
Preferred Skills and Experience
Product management experience 8+ years with a cloud computing and AI experience
Deeply technical with an understanding of cloud computing and infrastructure - able to define new features and functionality and synthesize them into what customers need
Customer-centric, customer-facing, and problem-solving experience in a fast paced environment
Experience in the AI/ML space, specifically with tools for data scientists and ML practitioners: Jupyter Notebooks, model training, model inference, MLOps, etc.
Strong presentation skills, for both internal audience and external audience
Career Level - IC5
Responsibilities
Product Strategy & Vision: Develop and communicate a clear product vision and strategy for the AI platform, aligned with company goals and customer needs.
Market & Customer Research: Conduct market research and gather customer feedback to identify opportunities and define product requirements. Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor activities to continuously improve the product offering
Roadmap Planning: Create and maintain a detailed product roadmap that outlines key milestones and deliverables.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, data science, design, marketing, and other teams to ensure successful product development and launch. Manage strategic engagement with the field to help grow our business, take market share, and retain existing customers
Go-to-Market Strategy: Develop and execute go-to-market plans, including product positioning, customer support collateral, and launch strategies.
Performance Monitoring: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and inform future decisions.
Product Representation: Communicate product plans, progress, and updates to internal stakeholders, including executives and team members.
Technical Collaboration: Collaborate with key stakeholders, including customers, engineering, industry experts, and internal teams, to understand customer needs, capture requirements, deliver key features/products, and set strategic direction for a product portfolio, and find creative solutions to customer problems. Identify and mitigate risks across our full set of systems, particularly at the intersection of business and engineering.

US: Hiring Range: from $114,500 to $251,600 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
