The Filtration Application Lead will oversee the understanding of the urgent, pervasive needs of the customers for their filtration, purification and separation applications and propose AM enabled solutions that create a differentiating advantage for Pall Corporation. Current focus is in energy transition related applications.
This position is part of the Energy+ Additive Manufacturing Business Unit and will be located onsite in either Cortland, NY or Deland, FL (will also consider other locations to include Timonium, MD, Port Washington, NY or New Port Richie, FL). The business unit leads the development and commercialization of innovative solutions enabled by AM technologies to drive the growth of Pall Corporation.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Lead the customer discussions to understand the technical aspects of the need and the application environment.Responsible for the product/system proposal including equipment sizing, system footprint, utility requirements, tie-ins, and cost estimation.Engage with customers' technical experts to alleviate concerns, mitigate risk, develop win-win propositions, gain trust, boost Pall's brand, secure commitments for pilots to demonstrate performance in real-world operating environments in order to gain customer references, and ultimately win business for the AM Business Unit.Author concept papers and proposals in collaboration with academic and industrial partners to secure funding from government agencies for the development and demonstration of the AM solutions.Drive the standardization of the tools and processes in collaboration with the Engineering and Commercial organizations to be more agile and responsive to customer enquiries.The essential requirements of the job include:
Bachelor's degree in engineering, preferably mechanical or chemical engineering.5+ years' experience with industrial gas filtration technologies in application engineering, proposal development, marketing, business development, or sales.Track record of success in commercializing products/applications, ideally enabled by innovative technologies.Demonstrated ability to write white papers, articles, and technical reports.It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Building partnerships needed with diverse stakeholders across value chain to commercialize new technologies.Excellent communication, facilitation, and collaboration skills.Presence and stature to generate respect, trust and a positive image for the organization, credibility through demonstrated expertise in the filtration industry.

The salary range for this role is $95,000 - $135,000 US. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
