Job Description
ASRC Federal is currently seeking an
IT Service Desk Specialist-II
to support an upcoming DHA contract. This work will be located onsite in San Antonio, TX.
This position is contingent based on the successful award of contract to ASRC Federal.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Answers questions, analyzes problems and provides technical assistance, support, and advice to end users for hardware, software, and systems through phone, email, or chat.Resolves computer software and hardware problems of users and acts as a contact for users having problems using computer software, hardware, and operating systems.Acts as the escalation path to resolve moderate to highly complex technical issues.Specialized in certain aspects of technologies to assist the customer base.Provides support for call overflow during peak time or reduced staff during off peak hours.Requirements
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree and/or equivalency.Four (4) years of progressive experience demonstrating the required proficiency.Experience working on-site providing superior deskside support across multiple sites.Experience working with a CRM like ServiceNow.At least one IAT II Certification:CCNA SecurityCompTIA Cybersecurity Analyst (CySA+)Global Industrial Cyber Security Professional (GICSP)GIAC Security Essentials (GSEC)CompTIA Security+ CECertified Network Defender (C|ND)ISC Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP)
To meet government contract requirements, must be a US Citizen and be able to obtain a Public Trust or DoD Security clearance.Must successfully complete a government issued background investigation.
