The Project Manager assumes duties that result after the salesperson has made the sale. They coordinate all facts from purchasing through installation to ensure the job goes smoothly and error-free.
Duties and Responsibilities
Promote a customer-centric culture of quality, professionalism, and efficiency.
Coordinate timely delivery of cabinets and other products.
Measure for all assigned jobs.
Responsible for 3-5 projects.
Able to check all orders and ensure everything that was ordered is correct.
Handle purchasing & payables.
Initiate and sign all purchase orders for assigned jobs.
Review installation details and coordinate job dates with scheduling department, installers, contractors, etc.
Arrange for delivery of cabinets and other products to the job site and coordinate that with the customers.
Coordinate final countertop dimensions with the fabricator.
Inspect the completion of all jobs and forward information regarding repairs or touch-ups to the Production Manager.
Uphold the quality of work on the jobs.
Handle job issues with customers, employees, and contractors.
Responsible for the jobs from start to finish.
Able to help, teach, and join in on the work if needed.
Able to problem-solve on the job sites.
Maintain shop cleanliness and organization.
Participate jointly with the Production Manager in conducting regular operations meetings involving:
Potential or existing problems.
Implementation of new programs or procedures.
Procedural questions or issues.
Recognition of good work performance.
Information on the status of the business.
Team ideas and suggestions.
Involved with the Production Manager in hiring support staff.
