The Bismarck Larks joined the Northwoods League (NWL) in 2017. The NWL is the largest organized baseball league in the world with 26 teams, drawing more fans than any league of its kind. The NWL provides top college players from North America and beyond a summer collegiate baseball experience. More than 340 Northwoods League players have advanced to Major League Baseball in the NWL's 31-year history.

The Position
The Bismarck Larks are seeking a Ticket and Group Sales Account Executive in Bismarck, North Dakota to lead, support and grow our ticket sales team. We are looking for a highly motivated, coachable, competitive, and professional individual with a hunter mentality and passion for sales.
As the Ticket and Group Sales Account Executive, you will focus on maximizing ticket revenue through the sale of season tickets, mini-plans, premium hospitality areas, corporate groups, community groups and other inventory.You'll manage ticket inventory, develop sales and marketing strategies, and deploy unique touchpoints to fans throughout the calendar-year selling while providing exceptional service and experience to fans.
This position will gain knowledge, exposure and experience in the following areas:
Sales & Marketing -cold-calling, delivering a sales pitch, closing the sale Database Management - lead generation/prospecting, developing a database Customer Service - answering questions, providing information, solving problems and building customer relationships Roles and Responsibilities
Outreach via telephone, email, and in-person to qualified sales leads to generate ticket sales revenue through season tickets, group outings, and mini plans Make 60-80 calls to individuals and organizations daily Manage renewal and servicing of season ticket packages, mini plans, and group outings Manage and track ticket inventory, sales, renewals and provide updates weekly/frequent updates to the ticket sales team Proactively seek new leads through referrals, prospecting, and networking Continually create and implement unique sales strategies, ideas, and programs to generate new business opportunities. Maintains detailed and accurate records of clients and prospects in the CRM system Maintain call logs on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis Provide in-office and game-day support in the area of ticket resolution customer service and will call Provide excellent customer service and a positive fan experience for prospects and current clients over the phone and at games with the goal of renewing their business. Represent the team at various Larks and Funatix Events and participate in other outside community events and mascot appearances, as defined by the team General Team Responsibilities
Game and Team Event Availability:
Expected to be available for all Bismarck Larks home games and team events; this includes weekends and holidays. Funatix Event Availability:
Expected to be available for all Funatix Events, including but not limited to the Mandan Rodeo Days, company picnics, festivals, etc. A full event list will be provided. This includes weekends and holidays. Game Day and Event Hours:
Expected to be available from mid-morning through the end of the game and/or event. The schedule will be decided by the direct supervisor on a homestand and event basis. Non-Game Day/Event Hours:
You are expected to attend office hours from 8 AM to 5 PM each weekday. Assist with ballpark set-up and tear-down before-the-season, after-the-season and during each homestand Assist with event set-up and tear-down at team events and Funatix Events Help maintain ballpark cleanliness Assist with the tarp pull during rain delays All other duties as assigned Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Sales experience preferred but not required Strong written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational and time management skills Strong attention to detail Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize, and think strategically Ability to handle multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Sheets The ability to work extended hours upwards of 14 hours and lift 30-50 lbs Enthusiastic team player with strong leadership skills Must be a self-starter with a desire to work hard and have a positive "can-do" attitude Uphold our core values: Best, Uplift, Nerve, Teamwork.
