www.CEF.incJOB DESCRIPTION:We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Warehouse Manager to oversee the Whole Goods Shipping/Receiving Department, Parts Shipping/Receiving Department, and an Assembly Line of 4 employees. The Warehouse Manager will ensure efficient, safe, and productive warehouse operations to support our business goals.ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Operations Management:

Oversee the daily operations of the whole goods and parts shipping/receiving departments.Manage the assembly line ensuring timely and accurate production of assembled goods.Develop and implement warehouse processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and productivity.

Staff Supervision:

Supervise and provide leadership to warehouse staff, including shipping/receiving clerks, forklift drivers, and assembly line operators.Schedule and coordinate staff activities, ensuring adequate coverage and adherence to operational goals.Train, mentor, and evaluate employees, providing feedback and performance improvement plans as necessary.

Inventory Control:

Monitor inventory levels to ensure accuracy and sufficiency of stock for shipping and assembly needs.Conduct regular inventory audits and implement corrective actions to resolve discrepancies.Work with the inventory team to optimize storage space and improve inventory turnover rates.

Safety and Compliance:

Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements related to warehouse operations, safety, and environmental standards.Conduct regular safety meetings and training sessions to promote a safe working environment.Investigate and report all accidents, incidents, and near-misses, implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

Quality Assurance:

Maintain high standards of quality control in shipping/receiving and assembly operations.Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy, damage, and compliance with specifications.Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality and operational efficiency.

Communication and Coordination:

Liaise with other departments, including procurement, sales, and customer service, to ensure seamless operations and customer satisfaction.Prepare and present regular reports on warehouse performance, including key metrics and operational challenges.Address and resolve any operational issues promptly to minimize disruptions.

QUALIFICATIONS:Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.Experience:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse management, including experience in shipping/receiving and assembly operations.Skills:

Strong leadership and team management skills.Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control software.Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in warehouse operations.Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

Certifications:

Forklift certification and other relevant certifications are a plus.Ability to work in a warehouse environment, including standing, walking, lifting, and handling materials.Availability to work extended hours, including evenings and weekends, as necessary.OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without any restrictions.Okay to work 100% on-site in Tacoma, WA.
