The Executive Director of the Piqua Arts Council assumes the pivotal role of guiding the organization's daily operations, aligning actions with the board of trustees' defined vision and mission. Although not an exhaustive list, the executive director is entrusted with key responsibilities encompassing Personnel & Administration, Marketing and Public Relations, Fundraising & Board Relations, Financials & Record Keeping, Programs & Services, and Strategic Planning. This multifaceted role ensures the seamless execution of the organization's objectives and underscores the director's integral contribution to its overall success.Responsibilities

Strategic Planning:Collaborate with the PAC Board to revise and align the strategic plan with organizational goals and objectives.Oversee the procurement, supervision, and development of volunteer staff members to support PAC's operations.Assist committees in creating and executing program and event activities.Uphold the organization's daily affairs with the utmost integrity, ensuring all activities adhere to legal and ethical standards.Attend committee meetings, providing coordination and support as needed.Financial and Records:Work collaboratively with staff and the board to prepare and interpret organizational budgets for annual Board approval.Administer the current budget, maintain records, and respond to inquiries.Interact, confer, and provide appropriate responses to artists and the public.Coordinate an annual community and corporate fundraising program in alignment with PAC's goals.Research new funding opportunities and implement initiatives determined by the Board of Directors.Inform, report, and advise the Executive Committee and Board of Trustees on relevant matters.Prepare and submit the annual report to memberships.Attend and provide coordination and support at Board Meetings, presenting the Executive Report.Marketing and Public Relations:Actively promote PAC's programs, accomplishments, mission, goals, and objectives to diverse constituencies.Serve as a key liaison to community and regional leaders, organizations, and citizens within PAC's service area.Facilitate the development of a strategic communications/marketing plan to effectively promote and market PAC's offerings through various media channels.Foster working partnerships with peer organizations, funding entities, and community stakeholders.Cultivate positive relationships with local government, school officials, business leaders, civic groups, and arts patrons.
