Boys Town National Research Hospital is seeking a Pediatric Neurologist with accredited fellowship training in Neuromuscular medicine to serve the needs of patients at Boys Town National Research Hospital. This individual will work with our expanding Neurosciences team to diagnose, treat, and manage pediatric patients suffering from pediatric neuromuscular conditions in the outpatient and inpatient areas. Substantial collaborative and leadership opportunities exist for developing programs in spasticity management and physical therapy integration on the Boys Town campus. Additionally, research collaborations are abundant through the Boys Town PoWERLAB (https://humanpowerlab.org/). This position allows a motivated and growth-oriented physician the opportunity to develop a substantial presence in the field of pediatric neuromuscular medicine.

Boys Town National Research Hospital is a unique specialty-focused hospital with strong emphasis in Neuroscience and Translational Research. Advanced diagnostic facilities are available to the Neuroscience team, including outpatient EEG/EMG, a 6 bed inpatient Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU), 3T MRI, and state of the art Magnetoencephalography (MEG). The combination of a small inpatient service and lack of Emergency Room facilities allows BTNRH to maintain its strong specialty focused and multidisciplinary clinics, while providing ideal work-life balance for clinicians.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Doctor of Medicine degree from an accredited medical school.Accredited Residency and/or Fellowship Training in Neuromuscular medicine and Child Neurology leading to eligibility for Board Certification in the subspecialty of child neurology.Possess or able to obtain and maintain Board Certification in Neurology with special qualifications in child neurology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.Medical licensure in the State of Nebraska.Able to qualify for hospital staff privileges at Boys Town National Research Hospital and maintain those privileges.Diversity is more than a commitment at Boys Town—it is the foundation of who we are and what we do.At Boys Town, we cultivate a culture of inclusion for all employees that respects their individual strengths, views, and experiences.
