Summary:
JCS Solutions LLC (JCS) is seeking a User Activity Monitoring (UAM) Analyst - Senior to join our growing team supporting a Department of Defense project within the National Capital Region (NCR). This position joins a high performing team to triage, analyze, and assess alerts and document and report findings through a case management system. What you will do:
The specific duties include but are not necessarily limited to the following:
Triage, analyze, and assess alerts and document and report findings through a case management systemDocument and report findings to impacted organizations and potential follow-on analysisProvide information to the UAM lead for customer trending and reporting requirementsCreate, implement, deploy, maintain, and tune countermeasures in response to new or changing insider threat tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs).Support meetings where UAM representation is neededProvide recommendations to contractor and government leadership on ways to improve the UAM program
To be successful, you should have:
Must be a U.S. Citizen.Must have active Top Secret/SCI.Bachelor's or Master’s and 6-10+ years of professional experience; additional related years of experience is accepted in lieu of a degreeAt least 3-10 years of incident response experienceAt least 3-5 years of UAM or insider threat detection experienceDemonstrated experience with UAM capabilities and common insider Threat TTPs.Demonstrated knowledge of network traffic and communications, including known ports and services.Demonstrated experience in coordinating with external organizations, especially Law Enforcement and CounterintelligenceKnowledge of incident handling procedures.Certifications that satisfy DoD-8570 IAT Level II and CSSP Analyst.Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and assignments simultaneously under strict deadlines with minimal direction at times.Strong interpersonal & communication skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.Strong organizational, verbal, and written skills
