Leidos is seeking a skilled Command and Control (C2) Integrated Product Team (IPT) Lead / Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in networking, computer science, or electrical engineering fields, along with a strong background in C2 systems and operations. This position requires a proactive individual capable of leading and managing cross-functional teams in the design, development, and deployment of complex C2 solutions.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Lead C2 Development Team: Direct and oversee the C2 IPT in the conceptualization, development, and integration of C2 systems and capabilities.
  • Subject Matter Expertise: Provide expert-level guidance and support on C2 architectures, systems engineering, and integration methodologies.
  • Technical Leadership: Drive technical excellence and innovation within the IPT, ensuring alignment with program objectives and customer requirements.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders, including government clients, engineers, and project managers, to ensure effective communication and project execution.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate technical risks associated with C2 system design, implementation, and operation.
  • Documentation: Prepare technical documentation, reports, and presentations for both internal and external audiences.
  • Training and Mentoring: Mentor junior staff members and contribute to the professional development of the team.


Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Networking, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum of 12 years of relevant experience in C2 systems development, integration, or operations.
  • Strong understanding of military C2 operations and systems.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in managing technical teams and projects.
  • Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) practices, tools, and processes.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
  • Active Secret clearance or higher.
  • Resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama, AL area.


Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior military service.
  • Experience with Integrated Battle Command System (IBCS).
  • Experience with DoD acquisition processes and regulations.
  • Master's degree in a relevant field.
  • Security+ or CISSP certification.

Pay Range: Pay Range $122,200.00 - $220,900.00
