JOB-7017Senior PC Tech - ElectionsLas Vegas, NVContractLink Technologies (LinkTechConsulting.com) is seeking Senior PC Technicians to support a short-term large IT project in the Las Vegas, Nevada area. This is an onsite / contract opportunity. All candidates must be legally eligible to work for any employer in the United States without sponsorship or a third-party employer.
SUMMARY
Senior PC Technicians will provide technical support for an upcoming local government project.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Providing technical support and warehouse support to the IT and Election Department managing installs and troubleshooting for voting sites.Supporting the IT department with miscellaneous tasks.Assist with implementing mobile devices including network setup for large volume events.Work directly with the project coordinators, project manager and senior staff to communicate real-time updates.JOB REQUIREMENTS
Minimum of five (5) years of experience in PC tech support or a related field, with at least two (2) years in a senior or lead role.Experience working with desktops, laptops, and tablets.Experience working with an iPad.Basic Microsoft administration skills.Experience working with Dell products.Basic Apple and iOS skills.Strong customer service experience, with the ability to work well in a team environment.Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with the ability to make educated decisions and meet deadlines.Reliable and able to adhere to scheduling requirements for the contracted period.PREFERRED
Experience in supporting election technology is highly desirable.Experience with cable management and technical installations.Experience with troubleshooting and deskside support.Experience with WAN/LAN and Wi-Fi configurations and set up.Experience with Asset Management.Mobile Device QA experience.ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Possess a valid Nevada Drivers and comfortable driving a provided vehicle.Ability to pass a drug and background screening.Registered to vote in the State of Nevada.Willing to disclose political affiliation.ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
MUST be available to work September 30th - November 15th with limited requested days off.Available to work from as early as 3:00AM to as late as 11:00PM in terms of scheduling needs.Average shifts will be 8 - 10 hours with the possibility of overtime.Available to work weekends and flexible with schedule.Available to work extended hours on a specific event day, November 5th.
