We pride ourselves on the impact we have on the early childhood field through supporting teachers who are doing the most important work there is, teaching children to become creative, confident thinkers.Specific Roles & ResponsibilitiesWorking with the Product Managers and content team to build and drive project plans and processes to produce and ingest significant new video, print, and digital content. This will be your initial priority.Organize, lead and monitor product team projects, including video,print, and digital content production, as well as the process of defining our role and deliverables for major requirements efforts.Define new processes for content production and ingestion, working with other teams including technology and operations teams as appropriate.Tracking project performance to ensure successful implementation of short and long term goalsDevelop and maintain detailed project plans and schedulesMaintain a project risk assessment and identify options to mitigate risksDrive project progress and keep stakeholders informed throughout the project lifecycleResponsible for managing resources utilization, project scope, deadlines, and budgetEstablish, track and report on project KPIsFacilitate regular project status meetings with stakeholders and teamsPrepare team and executive-level status reportsParticipate in cross-departmental resource capacity planning sessionsLead daily scrum meetings and other agile processes as neededEscalate potential project issues in a timely manner and develop a risk management plan with stakeholdersManage project vendorsSupport the product team leaders as needed in accomplishing the evolution of our product roadmap.Work collaboratively with project managers from other departments.Occasional domestic travel required for in-person team, department, and company meetingsQualificationsBA or relevant industry experience5+ years of demonstrated knowledge and experience with content and creative projects, and product development projects2+ years of experience in an Agile environment, preferably as a Scrum MasterAbility to organize and lead multiple projects simultaneouslyExperience managing both onsite and geographically distributed project teamsUnderstanding of matrixed organizationsThe ability to manage multiple tasks and team dynamicsAdvanced time management and analytical skillsFlexible and willing to accept a change in priorities as necessaryStrong attention to detailThorough understanding of project/program management techniques and methodsWorking knowledge of change management principlesExcellent communication and problem-solving skillsThe ability to drive order and forward traction out of sometimes amorphous settings/problemsBilingual fluency in the Spanish language to support our bilingual product needsDesired SkillsProject Management Professional (PMP), Agile/Scrum (ACP), or other similar industry-recognized certificationsHands-on experience with Atlassian Tools (JIRA, Confluence) or comparable Agile suiteExperience with industry-standard project management toolsWhy Teaching StrategiesAt Teaching Strategies, our solutions and services are only as strong as the teams that create them.
