:The Monitoring & Analytics Associate (MA Associate) supports the Center for Applied Learning and Impact (CALI) by managing data analysis and developing reports to elevate learnings and insights about the effectiveness of GLIDE division services, activities, and initiatives that can inform strategy and practice. Responsibilities include implementing measurement plans for GLIDE’s three impact divisions (Programs, the Center for Social Justice, and Glide Memorial Church); analyzing programmatic data to monitor progress and track compliance with programmatic grants and contracts; and responding to requests for data and research review from CALI and other teams at GLIDE.The successful candidate will have strong analytical skills and significant experience with project management and database administration. This position requires strong interpersonal communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced and changing environment.

Responsibilities

Clean, organize, and analyze quantitative internal and external data to unlock insights, measure effectiveness, and provide actionable insights to GLIDE staff and leaders across departments (including the impact divisions, Fund Development, Communications, and Finance).Triage and manage data- and research-related requests (CALI Team Requests) from various stakeholders at GLIDE. Work closely with the Director of Monitoring & Analytics to prioritize requests accordingly.Promote a positive data and learning culture at GLIDE by developing narrative insights, data visualizations, and actionable data reports to facilitate evidence-based meaning-making with a variety of internal and external audiences.Understand service and contract workflows and documentation standards for all divisions in order to onboard, train, and coach staff in Programs, CSJ, and the Church on the use, navigation, and management of data in Salesforce to ensure data quality and integrity.Design, develop and monitor data and reports in Salesforce to extract for statistical analysis.Work with M&A Director and Data Systems team members to identify opportunities and troubleshoot challenges with data quality and database structure that impact analysis and reporting (e.g. duplicated records, missing or partial data, etc.)Project manage analytic research projects and effectively communicate with CALI team and leads about shifting priorities and bandwidth to prioritize and meet deadlines.Minimum Qualifications

4+ years of experience with research tools, data analysis, and report writing.Must have analytic skills and the ability to analyze and synthesize data using a variety of analysis tools;Problem Solver: uses rigorous logic and methods to solve difficult problems with effective solutions;Detail-oriented planner who can manage all aspects of projects; proven ability to multi-task.Able to adapt based on changing priorities and lessons learned; delivers high quality products.Interpersonal skills: ability to work independently and collaboratively.Experience working closely with leadership and peers in a team setting and working across teams to meet the needs of multiple stakeholders while staying in line with strategy.Experience managing complex projects in the context of shifting priorities.Strong writing and proofreading skills; ability to analyze, compose, and communicate at a high level.Experience with some analytic and data visualization tools (e.g. STATA, SPSS, R, Python, Tableau, Power BI) required. Some experience with STATA strongly preferred.Proficient in MS Office suite, especially Excel.Experience working with database management systems such as Salesforce.

$70,000 - $80,000 a year

This position is covered by the collective bargaining agreement.Work Environment:GLIDE’s buildings are in the Tenderloin neighborhood.
