About the Role

The

Senior Analyst

will join a private investment firm, in their

Cleveland

office. This firm focuses on lower middle market, acquiring businesses with up to $25M EBITDA and up to $100M in revenue. They primarily invest in the niche manufacturing sectors, including specialty chemicals, life sciences, advanced materials, and engineered components.

Key Responsibilities

Support the investment underwriting and due diligence process (e.g., modeling, memos, data room management, industry research)

Run extensive analytical analysis on financial, customer, product, market information, etc. to clearly articulate trends within businesses

Support investor relations with preparation of quarterly and annual materials, including individual asset updates, fund level performance analysis, and annual presentations

Compile market research on new investments and provide a deliverable accurately summarizing the state of the industry

Provide portfolio management support for existing investments including budgeting expected performance, evaluating actual performance, and implementing portfolio management processes including continuous improvement

Professional Experience

Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in middle-market investment banking, private equity.

Qualifications

Proactive with an exceptional work ethic and a background reflecting a high level of achievement

1+ years of experience in investment banking, private equity, transaction advisory, lending, consulting, or other relevant M&A experience

Bachelor’s degree or greater

Knowledge of basic accounting concepts and financial modeling techniques

Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Strong analytical skills

Ability to cultivate and maintain strong (in-person and virtual) relationships

Ability to work in dynamic and entrepreneurial environment, which includes ambiguity and changing priorities

Excited about working and living in Cleveland, Ohio

Salary

Salary is competitive, depending on experience.
