As the software engineers closest to Anduril customers and end-users, Mission Software Engineers solve complex technical challenges of operational scenarios while owning the end-to-end delivery of winning capabilities for Fury: our high-performance, multi-mission group 5 autonomous air vehicle (AAV). In addition, the team delivers on other ground-breaking, Counter Intrusion, Joint All Domain Command & Control, and Counter-Unmanned Aircraft Systems. You will collaborate with multiple teams to solve a wide variety of problems involving networking, autonomy, systems integration, robotics, and more, while making pragmatic engineering tradeoffs along the way. Your efforts will ensure that our software will work seamlessly to achieve a variety of critical outcomes.Come be a part of the team that is powering Anduril's Autonomy for Every Mission!REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSStrong engineering background from industry or school, ideally in areas/fields such as Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, or PhysicsExperience building software solutions involving significant amounts of data processing and analysisAbility to quickly understand and navigate complex systems and established code basesA desire to work on critical software that has a real-world impactMust be eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. TS clearancePREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSStrong background with focus in Physics, Mathematics, and/or Motion Planning to inform modeling & simulation (M&S) and physical systemsDeveloping and testing multi-agent autonomous systems and deploying in real-world environmentsFeature and algorithm development with an understanding of behavior treesDeveloping software/hardware for flight systems and safety critical functionalityDistributed communication networks and message standardsKnowledge of military systems and operational tacticsThe recruiter assigned to this role can share more information about the specific compensation and benefit details associated with this role during the hiring process.Anduril is an equal-opportunity employer committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace.
