Job Description/Responsibilities:Record lease entries in accordance with ASC 842Responsible for the US general ledger which includes cash, prepaids, fixed assets, accrual, and payroll.Support accounting month-end processes, which may include preparation of journal entries and account reconciliations in accordance with established close scheduleProvide monthly balance sheet variance analysis and reportingAssist with ongoing account reconciliation and specific projects by reviewing and researching assigned accounts. Ensure the general ledger accounts are resolved and reconciled on a timely basis. This may entail the review of account reconciliations with management.Coordinate with cross-functional teams to obtain transaction information, research reconciling items, and resolve issuesWork with cross-functional teams to obtain necessary information to create monthly/quarterly accruals and ensure financial transactions are properly recordedMaintain records and supporting documentation in an organized mannerLiaise with internal and external audit for mid-year and year-end audit supportEnsure compliance with internal procedures and controlsProvide accounting support to the Controller and Managers on special projects and other duties as necessaryRequired Experience/Skills:Fully in-office position8 to 10 years of experience in corporate / GL function or a combination with public accounting experienceAbility to prioritize workload to achieve on-time accurate resultsWork in a structured manner and able to effectively complete tasks with minimal supervisionA sense of ownership and curiosity to learn new skillsStrong analytical skills with a holistic understanding of how accounting processes align with broader objectivesAbility to be flexible and comfortable with changing requirementsEffective communicator with ability to influence at all levels of an organizationDetail-oriented with the ability to solve problems and implement best practices through teamwork and collaborationExperience with a large ERP system, Oracle Fusion a plusAbility to work with global and cross-functional teamsProficiency with MS ExcelExperience with tight deadlines and timeliness for work performedHigh attention to details and accuracy, excellent organizational skills, and ability to multi-taskStrong analytical skills and problem-solving abilitiesEagerness to learn and tackle challenges in a rapidly growing and dynamic environment
