The Software Engineer - Python will work with a small and nimble team to develop AI and data science solutions to support and enhance our Q-SYS platform. Q-SYS is a fast-growing, award-winning software and hardware platform built on cutting-edge audio, video, and control products.This position is (HYBRID) based in Boulder, Colorado.Base Pay Range:
$78,000 - $106,000We will be accepting applications until a final candidate is identified.The above reflects the pay range that QSC reasonably expects to pay for this role. This pay range also depends on various factors such as job duties and requirements, relevant experience and skills, and geographic location. Develop world-class software within the pro audio, video & control industryDevelop Python application software to support the AI and Data science teamPerform other duties as assignedQualifications
B.S. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalentMinimum 1 year of work experience in a software development environmentExperience in developing Python applications in both Linux and Windows environmentsExperience with the features of modern Python and its effective use in solving real-world problemsExperience with the best principles, practices, and patterns of software architecture and designMust be able to take ownership of large portions of the software from a technical perspectiveMust be self-motivated, curious, and practical in order to achieve assigned objectives with minimal supervisionProficiency in several of the following areas:Big Data (database queries, etc.)IoT protocols (MQTT, etc.)TkInterCommunications protocolsComputer security and data privacyTensorflow, PyTorch, CaffeExperience programming A/V (Audio Visual) Control Systems is a plus
