What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

Analyze potential fraud cases and requests for information using claims dataSupport the development of complex cases for referral to law enforcementCommunicate effectively with internal and external stakeholdersUtilize data analysis techniques to detect aberrancies in claims dataAssist in provider, beneficiary, law enforcement, or staff training related to fraud analysis

What Is Required (Qualifications)

Bachelor's degree in statistics or related discipline2 years' experience in data analysis in healthcareProficiency in MS Access, MS Excel, and SASKnowledge of Medicare and Medicaid rules and regulationsValid driver's license and ability to travel occasionally

How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

MA or MS degree in related fieldFamiliarity with ICD-9-CM and ICD-10-CM codesExperience with health claims data and provider identifiers
