Who We Are Looking ForThe Global Markets (GM) Product Manager Vice President (VP) executes a portfolio of initiatives, delivering product and infrastructure to our State Street Global Markets trading business teams. The GM Product Management team encompasses all aspects of the business:Strategy implementationDesign, development and implementation of client facing product, trading infrastructure and operational modelsRisk oversight metrics and reportingThe successful candidate will work with business leaders to implement strategic and tactical initiatives, will partner with technology, operations and other business partners to deliver product and infrastructure aligned with our strategic goals and regulatory requirements.Due to the role requirements this job needs to be performed primarily in the office with some flex work opportunities available.Why this role is important to usThe team you will be joining is a part of State Street Global Markets (SSGM). As our investment research and trading arm, SSGM’s number one goal is to enhance and preserve our clients’ portfolio values by applying technology, optimizing trading, and linking asset classes and markets across the world.Join us if making your mark in the capital markets industry from day one is a challenge you are up for.What You Will Be Responsible ForAs GM Product Manager VP, you will:Partner with business leaders to identify product, trading infrastructure and operating models necessary for the successful implementation of strategy and initiativesTranslate business strategic vision into functional product plansUsher product through internal and regulatory governanceDefine product features and develop product overviews, workflows and visual artifacts to crystalize product use, and process owners.Work with technology to drive technology solutions and deliverables to meet product requirementsManage business partner demand and help resolve competing prioritiesBuild relationships with business partners (i.e. Legal, Compliance, Operations, IT, Finance, Procurement etc.) and ensure they understand business needs to create robust and sustainable solutions.Become a subject matter expert for the trading businesses across initiatives and projects.Understand the full trading flow life cycle and objectives and priorities of the businessResolve significant issues or roadblocks working with regional management across the bank as required.Review, analyze, and evaluate business and user needs in order to recommend solutions and optionsDevelop and execute projects to meet changing needs and requirementsIdentify and frame risks and issues as well as ensure their timely resolution or escalationDefine the workflows, processes, policies and procedures utilized to conduct our trading businessesEffectively communicate, collaborate and develop relationships with diverse stakeholders with varied interests.Keep abreast of industry trends and upcoming changes brought about by competitive, market and or regulatory influences.What We ValueThese skills will help you succeed in this role:Subject matter expertise in trading and capital marketsDemonstrated success simultaneously executing multiple projects and business initiatives within complex organizational settingsDemonstrate capability to interact, negotiate and influence at all levels of management and across the organizationsOutstanding organizational, analytical and consultative abilitiesEducation & Preferred QualificationsBachelor’s Degree or equivalent (MBA preferred)10+ years of industry experienceAre you the right candidate?
