The ideal candidate will play an important role in supporting Apogee’s clinical development programs by building strong relationships with investigators, key opinion leaders (KOLs), and other external stakeholders.Territory:

Western United StatesKey ResponsibilitiesClinical Support:Collaborate with the clinical study teams to provide medical and scientific support for clinical sites.Develop and maintain strong relationships with clinical study investigators, key opinion leaders, and other external stakeholders in the field of dermatology.Act as a credible, scientific resource for KOLs, providing them with up-to-date and relevant information on Apogee’s development programs.Stay abreast of the latest developments, publications, and research in dermatology to effectively communicate with experts in the field.Stay informed of competitor products and market trends in dermatology.Internal Collaboration:Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Medical Affairs, Clinical Development, Clinical Operations, and Business Development & Strategy to ensure strategic alignment.Provide insights and feedback to internal teams based on interactions with external stakeholders.Ideal CandidateAdvanced degree in a relevant medical or scientific field (MD/DO, PharmD, PhD, Master’s degree, or equivalent)Minimum of 3 years of industry experience as a Medical Science Liaison, with expertise in medical dermatology, specifically, atopic dermatitisStrong understanding of clinical study execution and appropriate interactions with clinical study sitesFamiliarity with compliance requirements related to medical affairs activities and appropriate interactions with healthcare professionalsKnowledge of the dermatology therapeutic area and current treatment paradigms in inflammatory skin diseasesExcellent communication and presentation skillsAbility to build and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders and healthcare professionalsSuccessfully exhibit Apogee’s C.O.R.E. values: Caring, Original, Resilient and EgolessAbility and willingness to travel up to 75% including a minimum of 4 times per year for All Hands meetings as well as regular travel to meet with clinical study site personnel and KOLs and to attend scientific conferences, etc.The anticipated salary range for candidates for this role will be $200,000 to 215,000/year.
