The
DevOps Engineer
is responsible for managing the infrastructure, automating deployment processes, and ensuring the reliability and scalability of our systems. He/She works closely with software developers, system operators, and other IT staff members to oversee code releases and deployments, streamline operations, and implement best practices for continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD). The DevOps Engineer has a strong background in software engineering, system administration, and a deep understanding of DevOps principles and practices.
Job Responsibilities
Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate the software development processCollaborate with development teams to ensure smooth and reliable software releasesMonitor system performance, identify issues, and implement solutions to optimize system reliability and scalabilityDevelop and maintain infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or similarImplement and manage containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like KubernetesEnsure security best practices are followed and integrated into the DevOps processesConduct root cause analysis for production errors and implement preventive measuresAutomate routine tasks to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual interventionManage cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP) and ensure optimal resource utilizationMaintain documentation for infrastructure, configurations, and deployment processesParticipate in on-call rotation to provide 24/7 support for production systems
Job Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related fieldProven experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar roleStrong knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, etc.)Proficiency with configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet, etc.)Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)Solid understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)Strong scripting skills (Bash, Python, Ruby, etc.)Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack)Experience with version control systems (Git)Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detailStrong communication and collaboration skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneouslyRelevant certifications (AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Certified Kubernetes Administrator, etc.) preferredExperience with microservices architectureUnderstanding of networking concepts and protocolsKnowledge of security best practices and toolsExperience with agile methodologies and project management tools
Compensation: Salary + Performance-Based Bonus, Comprehensive Benefits Package. Final compensation will be determined based on experience and skills and may vary from the range listed above.
