Our team partners with senior leadership to run important functions that cross-cut our existing organizations and deliver high impact projects. We help Engineers, PMs, UX, and all of our other functions to build amazing products that delight our users, and then get those products into their hands.

The Payments Strategy and Operations team provides strategic and operational support to enable Google to launch new business products and forms of payment on top of the business generation engine easily, efficiently, and safely. We bring teams together across Google’s functions to execute efficiently and optimally, push Google to scale at key points that refine our infrastructure, and bring solid business sense and sound judgment to drive strategic decisioning. Our role often includes components of strategy (e.g., analyzing and understanding new trends in the industry, building business plans), operations (e.g., running the cadence of organizations, connecting the operating lines between our functions), and communications. Our team partners with senior leadership to run important functions that cut across our existing organization to deliver high impact projects. We help PMs, Engineers, UX, and all other functions build amazing products.

Whether it is paying online with Autofill, using tap and pay in stores, or using the Google Pay app, the Payments team at Google is focused on making payments simple, seamless, and secure. In addition to consumer payment technologies, the Payments team also powers the money movement between Google and its consumers and businesses.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $117,000-$172,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

Identify problems and issues across the organization and define/lead programs and processes to solve them.

Influence team members and executive management to act and drive projects to completion.

Establish and lead operating processes and tools for effectively managing the organization and achieving goals.

Bootstrap and drive a wide-range of high impact projects - developing business cases and driving strategic decisions.

Contribute to product design and roadmap development, including collecting market feedback and building strategic narratives.
