The Senior Manager will play a pivotal role in the leadership and expansion of our fast-growing practice, with a focus on delivering high-quality accounting services and driving business development. This position will be instrumental in shaping accounting principles, practices, and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial statements for our diverse client base. The role offers significant opportunities for upward mobility and professional growth. While primarily remote, the Senior Manager will occasionally work in-office to oversee the team and foster a collaborative environment as well as work directly with clients.Responsibilities:Oversee the day-to-day management of financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of client informationConduct thorough reviews of G/L for coding accuracy, file completeness, and overall financial integrityUnderstand and operate effectively within organization's independence and risk governance frameworkUtilize a broad network of professional relationships to generate leads and drive business growthCollaborate across Crowe's leadership to develop strategic sales and accounting plans, maintaining, and updating them throughout the opportunity lifecycleProvide clients with a comprehensive Management Reporting Package monthlyEngage in regular client meetings to discuss ongoing work, special projects, and financial outcomesManage post-sales account activities, ensuring all contractual obligations are met and exploring opportunities to introduce additional Crowe solutions and servicesCoordinate with tax professionals to communicate tax reporting requirementsOffer advisory services tailored to the unique needs of emerging or high-growth businessesParticipate in business development through active involvement in community and professional organizationsLead and mentor a team of Managers, Senior Staff, and Staff Accountants, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvementManage multiple client engagements with strong project management skillsProvide oversight, leadership and training to other manager level team members to ensure timely deliverables, technical accounting support and proper staffing of engagementsEngage in multiple opportunities with prospects and sales of CAS servicesQualifications:Bachelor's or master's degree in accounting or a related field8+ years of experience in outsourced accounting, managing multiple clientsPublic accounting experience is highly regardedRequired certification: CPA, CMA, CGMA, or CAStrong interpersonal skills and the ability to build lasting relationships with clients and colleaguesComfortable in a fast-paced environment with multiple clients demandsProficiency with QuickBooks Online, Sage, Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite, Bill.com, Excel (advanced), or other similar softwareExperience with GAAP and IFRSTravel up to 30% as neededWe expect the candidate to uphold Crowe's values of Care, Trust, Courage, and Stewardship.
