Group/Division

KLA's Global Products Group (GPG) is responsible for creating all of KLA’s metrology and inspection products. EBeam’s mission encapsulates its role as the “eyes” of KLA’s product line, providing timely information on defects and critical locations on the wafer at the highest spatial resolution possible.

Job Description/Preferred Qualifications

Provides significant contributions to the definition of system requirements and the architecture of complex subsystems and systems.

Signs off and approves designs for the subsystems and systems assigned.

Provides input to the top-level system specifications, system error budget, interfaces and working parameters for the optimum hardware/software solution.

Writes test plans, including developing the specifications for modules and some subsystems.

Provides significant contributions to the design for any outsourced complex subsystem.

May lead or provide significant contributions to enable cross-functional teams to solve system problems.

Able to investigate the development of new features for complex systems.

Able to influence peers and junior engineers to accomplish program goals.

Able to communicate effectively with peers, interdisciplinary engineering groups, customers, and vendors.

Able to diagnose complex subsystem problems across algorithms, software, electronics, mechanics, and optics.

Skilled in the design of Semiconductor Inspection and Metrology Equipment.

Acts independently to determine methods and procedures on new or special assignments.

Minimum Qualifications

Doctorate (Academic) Degree and related work experience of 5 years; Master's Level Degree and related work experience of 8 years; Bachelor's Level Degree and related work experience of 12 years.
