Description

We are seeking a skilled and motivated DevOps Developer to join our dynamic team. As a DevOps Developer, you will play a vital role in optimizing our development, deployment, and operations processes. Your primary focus will be on streamlining the software delivery pipeline, implementing automation, and fostering a collaborative environment between development and operations teams.Design and implement robust CI/CD pipelines to automate the build, deployment, and testing of applications.Manage and maintain the infrastructure-as-code, utilizing tools like Ansible, Terraform, or Chef to ensure scalability, reliability, and security.Monitor and optimize application performance, identifying bottlenecks and implementing performance-enhancing solutions.Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth integration and deployment of new features and updates.Implement and maintain effective logging, monitoring, and alerting systems to ensure timely detection and resolution of issues.Ensure compliance with security best practices and implement necessary measures to safeguard data and infrastructure.Continuously research and evaluate new technologies, tools, and methodologies to improve efficiency and effectiveness.Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, testers, and system administrators, to foster collaboration and achieve shared goals.Provide support and troubleshooting assistance to resolve technical issues in a timely manner.Essential Functions & Duties:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.Proven experience as a DevOps Developer, with a solid understanding of DevOps principles and practices.Strong knowledge of CI/CD concepts and experience with related tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, AWS Code pipeline, or Circle CIHands-on experience with configuration management tools like Ansible, Terraform, or Chef.Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, including infrastructure provisioning and management.Solid understanding of networking concepts and protocols.Working knowledge of security concepts and tools like firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and encryption.Coding skills in at least one common scripting language, such as Bash, Python, JavaScript, or Ruby.Solid understanding of database concepts.Hands-on experience with Linux configuration management, commands, scripts, and editors.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues across different technology stacks.Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with the capability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.Ability to manage and prioritize tasks.Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with STIG (Security Technical Implementation Guide) environments.Exhibit excellent problem-solving and data analysis skills.Web accessibility knowledge WCAG 2.0/Section 508.Citizenship Or Work Authorization Required:

U.S. Citizen.Ability to obtain Secret Clearance.Ability to obtain Security+ Certification in the 6 month timespan given, unless they already have it.Preferred Education & Experience:

Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent experience).Candidates will be subject to a government background investigation and must meet eligibility criteria for access to classified information. U.S. Citizenship is required.
