As a Lead Software Engineer, you will be a vital player as the Team Lead on a prime contract that makes data actionable to users by displaying data to analysts in a safe and secure environment. This team is responsible for developing parsers and displays to convert and enrich data into meaningful intelligence views. You will lead the development of a new a modernized system. You will also be able to gain experience with Jenkins, Docker, Jira, and Confluence while improving your interpersonal skills to build and maintain working relationships as well.

Responsibilities :
Research, design, implement, and manage software programsLead and work closely with the development team to ensure customer requirements are being metIdentify areas for modification in existing programs and subsequently developing these modifications within the contractEnsure that work is being prioritized in an efficient and swift manner to meet deadlinesKeep team focused on meeting deliverables while managing day to day requests that come through to the developer team
Requirements :
Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field. (Additional 4 years of experience may substitute degree)15 years of experience in Software EngineeringExperience leading a team of software engineersExperience working directly with program stakeholders to identify needs/requests and transform these into actionable itemsExperience with Java, Maven, CI/CD
