Associate Data Scientist

We are seeking an Associate Data Scientist at our corporate offices in Salt Lake City, Utah. This is an individual contributor role within the Revenue Management and Data Science organization. This person will be assisting with executing new customer acquisition and other digital product strategies to improve website experience, paid search marketing, and call center operations. Proactive communication and good collaboration with internal stakeholders are essential for success in this role.
Primary Responsibilities
Perform data analysis, interpret findings, and explain them to a business audienceDevelop data pipelines to ensure data collection from various sources for analysis, reporting, and model buildingDesign and execute tests to optimize customer acquisition and other digital product strategiesDevelop road maps for data science products with guidance from senior members of the team and communicate the road map to relevant partners.Document analytics systems and assigned data science projects including business objectives, data collection and analysis process, evaluated models and techniques, insights, and key metrics.

Proven analytical and data-driven decision-making skillsAbility to manage large data sets, synthesize and communicate findingsCoding proficiency in SQL and PythonExperience with Databricks, Microsoft Azure, or other similar cloud environments is a plusTeam player with excellent collaboration skillsExcellent communication and presentation skillsHighly motivated and high level of energy and enthusiasm
Education And Experience
An undergrad degree in mathematics, operations research, statistics, finance, economics, or other STEM degrees.1-2 years of experience in applying analytics to drive business outcomes is a plus.
