Adorn Bar showcases craft cocktails and a wine list that sparks conversation, all with a lively, convivial vibe beckoning to be discovered.ResponsibilitiesThe Group Sales Manager - Entertainment & Sports prospects and sells to Entertainment Agents (Production, Bands on Tour, Film etc) and Professional Sports Teams on behalf of the hotel in accordance with the objectives established in the marketing plan. The ideal candidate would already have strong connections in the entertainment / sports market and be familiar with the booking process / experience expected by the clients. The manager will ensure that sales activities, top accounts and bookings are focused to yield maximum revenue per available room and generate Hotel's awareness through direct phone sales; direct sales calls, tradeshows and networking groups. They will work closely with sales and marketing teams to solicit, sell and confirm group business required to meet budgeted sales goals for the property. This position requires a high degree of independent judgement and discretion on decision making and managing confidential information of the property. Performs and follows up on all extra tasks, actions and responsibilities assigned by the Directors of Sales and Directors of Marketing..Preferred Qualifications and SkillsWe are looking for individuals who have solid selling and interpersonal skills and who demonstrate the energy and commitment to meet and exceed personal goalsThe applicant will have a proven track record in pursuing, evaluating soliciting, selling and confirming business as required in order to meet individual goals and overall budgeted sales and profitability.
