Overview:We are seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead the strategic planning and delivery of product development initiatives. This role involves working closely with both offshore and onshore teams, the product owner, and customer project/program managers to ensure successful release preparations and delivery. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, excellent communication skills, and experience with Jira.
Key Responsibilities:Strategic Planning and Delivery:
Develop and maintain project roadmaps in alignment with business goals.Coordinate with the core R&D team and the services/configuration team to ensure efficient resource allocation and timely delivery.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work alongside the product owner and customer project/program managers to gather and refine requirements.Facilitate communication between offshore and onshore teams to ensure cohesive project execution.
Project Management:
Utilize Jira for project planning, tracking, and management.Create detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and deliverables.Manage risks and resolve issues to ensure successful project outcomes.
Release Planning and Management:
Understand and plan release preparations, coordinating with teams to handle configurations and changes.Ensure all necessary preparations are in place for smooth product launches.
Performance Monitoring and Improvement:
Monitor project progress and quality, using tools and metrics to ensure milestones are met.Collect and analyze feedback from team members and stakeholders to identify areas for improvement.Implement best practices and process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Leadership and Team Management:
Lead and motivate project teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.Provide guidance and support to team members, helping them develop their skills and achieve their career goals.
Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.Proven experience as a Program Manager or in a similar role, preferably in product development.Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools, especially Jira.Excellent communication and leadership skills.Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including offshore and onshore teams.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:Experience in the technology or software development industry.Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.PMP, PMI-ACP, or similar project management certification.
