Under the supervision of the Executive Director, this position is the resource lead for the Mental Health Services branch among the other branches at the YMCA of San Francisco. They are responsible for providing consultation and supervision of staff in a manner that is consistent with the legal and ethical standards set by the professional field. These duties will generally include, but are not limited to, supervision of behavioral health champions on sites and trainees, providing consultation, program development, and the oversight of behavioral health champion staff/intern/trainee training. Administrative duties assigned by the Director will be consistent with the legal and ethical standards set by the field of mental health and the YMCA’s mission.Minimum Qualifications

Have practiced case management, clinical case management, or psychotherapy during at least two (2) years of their work with youth and families.Provided direct supervision to clinical case managers.Knowledge of legal and ethical standards of practice, including child abuse reporting laws.Experience in facilitation and training non-clinical staff.Extensive experience in trauma-informed training and consultation and working with youth who have a history of IDD.Sign and comply with required supervision-related forms.Knowledge of the racial, ethnic, economic, and social factors affecting the residents of the neighborhood served by the program.Microsoft Office and Outlook proficiency.Expertise and knowledge in law and ethics for helping professions.Current YMCA approved CPR and FA Certification.All employees working with the YMCA are considered to have supervisory or disciplinary action relationship over minors.
