Partner and Practice Leader

to join their dynamic team.

Position responsibilities:

Practice DevelopmentDevelop the overarching strategy for nonprofit outsourcing and consulting.Collaborate with related teams and industry segments: nonprofit practice, government consulting practice, and others as needed.Develop the marketing and go-to-market strategy for NFP Outsourcing, NFP Fractional, and NFP Consulting businesses.First point of contact for all NFP MS leads. Meet with prospects, develop proposals, and develop MSA.Team ManagementPerformance management for all staff.Mentor team members so they can achieve the level that their potential allows.Develop position descriptions, determine staffing strategy and needs, and work with HR to ensure the best candidates are sourced.Meet weekly with the team to discuss weekly schedules for clients.Meet weekly with managers to ensure high-priority issues are addressed.Develop training opportunities for specific team members (for example, NFP Federal Consulting training).Client ManagementPrimary client relationship holder.Review of work product – financial statements (quarterly and year-end), audit schedules, NICRA submissions, and any other critical product with an external focus.Primary client lead for forecasting and budgeting needs.NFP Fractional Specific ResponsibilitiesInterview candidates for specific skills to develop a bench of potential candidates.Qualifications:

4-year Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting OR a combination of non-accounting degree and experience.CPA is required, MBA is preferred.10+ years of experience with a public accounting firm.Similar national or regional CPA firm leadership experience is preferred.Significant experience with Nonprofits.Knowledge of all aspects of an internal accounting function from accounts payable and payroll to preparation of monthly financial statements.Experience with

Bill.com , QuickBooks, and/or Sage Intacct preferred.Ability to supervise and review work product to deliver high-quality, reliable financial information.Proven success and track record in building, developing, growing, and sustaining client and people relationships.
