ResponsibilitiesPerforms all diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures within assigned areas.Reviews all necessary documentation to perform diagnostic procedures.Performs preventative visual and manual inspections for each radiographic room/equipment assigned ensuring appropriate maintenance and cleanliness.Participates in the training and development, instruction of staff and radiology students.Demonstrates basic leadership skills and professional growth.Accurately enters all applicable information into the computer system and charges for procedures.Plans and/or implements care for assigned patients.Contributes to an effective quality management and quality control program for assigned area that is consistent with overall departmental/hospital quality management plan.Patient Satisfaction: ED & Inpatient scores Inpatient Wait Time: ED Wait Time: ED Courtesy.Chaperone patients when necessary.

QualificationsEDUCATIONHigh school diploma or equivalent.EXPERIENCEDemonstrated technical skills to meet entry level standards of routine radiography. RT(R) certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), Connecticut State License, and CPR Certification.LICENSUREState of CT Licensure. ARRT (R)PHYSICAL DEMANDWhile performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and talk or hear. They may frequently be required to sit; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and smell. They may occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Additional InformationHOURS: Full time; Evenings with every other weekend and holiday rotation**Sign On Bonus Eligible**General X-Ray experience needed, OR Experience preferred, not mandatory...willing to train, ARRT Registered, Ability to stand for long periods of time, Ability to work in a fast paced environment, C-Arm knowledge preferred, O-Arm Knowledge preferred, General X-Ray skills a must, Ability to lift 45+ lbs.
