MidPosition SummaryHII is seeking a motivated

Systems Administrator (SA)

with a desire to be an ISSO with a TS/SCI security clearance with CI polygraph to maintain an IT network inside a SCIF as well as perform some facility security tasks. The SCIF supports a team of 15-20 persons. The primary responsibility as the SA will be to implement security controls, perform and document continuous monitoring of security controls, review of audit logs, application of software updates and patches, perform system backups, maintain system documentation, maintain user accounts, manage system refreshes and coordinate with the cognizant security approving authorities to maintain system accreditation.These SA tasks will be applied to a networked system of computers comprised of Microsoft Windows servers, Windows workstations, thick clients, and Cisco network switch. Practical application of networked systems will be necessary.The Systems Administrator will need to keep system accreditation, continuous monitoring, and software inventory applications/databases updated, with the opportunity to increase responsibilities to performing Information Security System Officer functions (some ISSO functions will be performed from a different location).Additionally, responsible for assisting in the management and control of an Intelligence Community Program within a Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF), to include assisting in maintaining a security program in accordance with applicable regulations, directives and policies, and implementing and enforcing site specific security policies and procedures.What you will do:

Maintains smooth operation of multi-user computer systems, including coordination with network administrators.Duties may include setting up administrator and service accounts, maintaining system documentation, tuning system performance, installing system wide software and allocate mass storage space.Interacts with users and evaluates vendor products.Makes recommendations to purchase hardware and software, coordinates installation and provides backup recovery.Develops and monitors policies and standards for allocation related to the use of computing resources.Some facility security tasks are required, including monitoring the intrusion and detection systems to ensure that physical security requirements are met; enforcing approved procedures for safeguarding, transmitting, reproduction, storing and destruction of classified information, material and equipment; and conducting periodic reviews to ensure compliance with the Program security policies as defined in the Program Security Manual, Directives, and Instructions.What we are looking for:

6 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 4 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 10 years relevant experience.Must possess an active TOP SECRET/SCI clearance with a Single Scope Background Investigation with CI polygraph being less than seven years old.Must have served as an ISSO or System Administrator in the DoD arena.Experience in configuring and maintaining Windows Servers along with Active Directory, Group Policy Objects, Remote Desktop Services. Experience in configuring and maintaining Microsoft Exchange Servers and Windows operating systems.Must have some knowledge of ICD 705 and ICD 704.Must have the ability to operate under minimal supervision; possess high standards of professional decorum; provide comprehensive, risk-based physical and technical security advice, guidance and general security support to Program and HII security offices.Preferred Requirements

Background in one or more of the following: system administration, computer security, cybersecurity methodology, IT risk management tools, certification and accreditation through ICD-503, ICD-705 or NIST information system security controls.Possess or being willing to obtain IT certifications that meet DoD 8140 requirements.Effective customer and organizational level communication, written, presentation and interpersonal skills.Familiarity with the RMF process and vulnerability management a plus.Physical Requirements

Adequate visual acuity and manual dexterity for meeting the requirements of the Systems Analyst discipline.
