You’ll be involved in everything from developing automation scripts and tools to ensuring our software can be deployed over-the-air seamlessly. Your work will also include sensor calibration and developing debugging tools to resolve any cross-functional issues that arise. This is a great opportunity for someone who loves working in Linux environments, enjoys scripting, and has a strong grasp of C++ build systems.What You'll Do
Craft scripts to run thousands of hours of simulation and test scenarios faster than real-time, ensuring our software is robust and reliable.Develop scripts for hardware tests, ensuring everything works as expected under real-world conditions.Create tools that make updating our autonomy software a breeze, from anywhere in the world.Design tools to fine-tune factory sensor calibration and diagnostics.Build debugging and system introspection tools for various software teams.Maintain efficient build, deploy, and test workflows to streamline our development process.Help build cloud infrastructure to support our tools and services.What You'll Bring
You’ve developed command-line tools and scripts that are used in production environments.You’re comfortable in Linux environments and know your way around Bash scripting.Toolchains and build systems really get you going.You know your way around a stack trace and other Linux debugging tools like the back of your hand.You understand the intricacies of networking and interprocess communication on Linux systems.A love for containerizing anything and everything.What Makes You a Strong Fit
You have a passion to contribute to projects that are changing the future of the food supply chain and green technology.You’ve dabbled on robotics or other self-driving technologies.You’ve built systems that deploy code remotely to systems more than 1000 miles away.An appreciation for a good physical system (hardware-in-the-loop) to validate on.Experience with safety-critical systems and how to architect for certifying against industry standards.Salary and Benefits$160,000 - $190,000 a year
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $160,000 to $190,000 + equity + benefits + unlimited PTO.
