We are presently hiring for a HR Manager to work in the corporate office in Myrtle Beach, SC. We presently have over 30 properties located in 12 states.
NATURE OF POSITION:
The HR Manager
will plan, direct, develop and coordinate the policies and activities for the company, ensuring legal compliance and implementation of the organization’s mission and talent strategy.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Assists with the development and administration of programs, policies and guidelines to help align the workforce with the strategic goals of the company
Manages the performance management program
Manages the company’s training programs
Facilitates clear communication as the primary liaison between management and employees
Assists in recruiting, staffing, training, and retaining employees
Develops onboarding procedures and associated training programs
Works closely with our Professional Employer Organization (PEO)
Maintains the employee-related database
Prepares and analyzes reports that are necessary to carry out the functions of the company
Prepares periodic reports as required
Conducts employee investigations as required
Assists in monitoring the organization’s culture so that it supports the attainment of the company’s goals and promotes employee satisfaction
Conducts routine meetings with management to ensure a clear understanding of policies and compliance issues
Administers the benefit program and makes recommendations for benefit changes and ensures all benefits meet federal laws
