Director of Store Planning and Development
to join our team. Reporting to the VP of Events and Expansion, this key player will be responsible for managing our store development programs nationally, securing financing for approved projects, overseeing construction projects through detailed timelines and hands-on project management, and ensuring on-time, on-budget execution in all locations. The ideal candidate brings an extensive background in construction/project management, budget/capex planning and allocation, vendor selection, contract negotiation, and facilities management.To be successful in this role you'll have:Expertise in planning and managing multiple build projects at once, including end-to-end management of new store build-outsExceptional budget management and invoice tracking skillsDeep understanding of municipal build regulations and requirementsAbility to contribute effectively in the value engineering process to reduce costs without compromising brand objectivesExceptional project management skillsProven ability to effectively onboard and negotiate with new vendors and contractors to achieve desired outcomesKey Responsibilities:Organize buildout plans, sequencing, timelines and calendars for pipeline of build and maintenance projectsSelect and manage vendors to the completion of contracted deliveriesWork with finance to estimate and secure financing for all projects and control expenses through to completionEnsure compliance with local municipalities through permit acquisitionPlan and manage the maintenance budget and projects for all existing facilitiesTrack and oversee progress via frequent site-visits [travel required]Requirements:Based in New Orleans, requiring regular in-person office presence in our New Orleans headquarters.Minimum 7 years experience in store planning and developmentAdvanced in Google DriveAdvanced in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPointAdvanced in construction, architectural and store planning terminologyWorking knowledge of store and field operationsStrong organizational skillsStrong communication skills and proven ability to mobilize teams and projectsAbility to work independently or as a member of the teamAbility to communicate orally and in writingAbility to set priorities, meet deadlines and multi-task with minimal supervisionBenefits and Perks:Competitive wageGroup health plans: health, vision and dental insuranceWelfare benefits: life, ad&d, supplemental voluntary coverageFSA Plan & HSA Program401(K) Investment OptionsAdoption Assistance, EAP, Commuter BenefitsPaid Parental LeaveQuarterly Cultural SpendOngoing Training and Development, an Educational Allowance10 paid holidays and unlimited Paid Time OffKREWE employee frame discount (of course!)Diversity and Inclusion:KREWE believes in providing an inclusive workplace where all individuals have the opportunity to succeed.
